Jean-François thinks he has regained control over his life now that he has convinced his wife Brigitte to run for mayor in his place, but everything is upturned when his brother Pascal tracks him down in Vaillancourt. With his secret identity at risk, he faces a serious dilemma: should he come clean or get rid of his brother Pascal?
His actions begin to worry those around him. How can he hold onto Brigitte as her doubts about him grow? How can he keep Chamberland’s trust after the latter’s troubling discoveries about Ouimet’s disappearance?
In Shediac, Don, Steve and Mathieu confront members of Logan’s gang to find out who was responsible for Pascal going missing. Caro doesn’t approve of their methods and leaves the house to conduct her own investigation. Meanwhile, Steve discovers that Jean-Jean hid a great deal from them. Will he be able to find Jean-François?
